VÂN & YEN – A LOVE ACROSS CULTURES WHERE TWO WORLDS MEET

Vân, a Vietnamese woman, and Yen, a Taiwanese man, first met in Canada in 2020. Coming from different cultures and different places, neither could have known that a chance meeting would become the beginning of a life they would build together.

What began as a simple encounter gradually grew into something deeper. Over the years, they learned to navigate the differences between their backgrounds while creating a shared rhythm of their own. Their relationship was shaped not only by the places they came from, but by the experiences they shared, the life they created, and the quiet certainty of continuing to choose one another.

THE FAMILY THEY BUILT

In 2025, their story entered an entirely new chapter with the arrival of their son, Jace.

Becoming parents brought a new depth to their relationship. Their world expanded beyond the two of them, filled with new routines, new responsibilities, and countless little moments that made their family feel whole. In watching Jace grow, they found a different kind of happiness, one rooted in the everyday, in being present for each other, and in building a home where two cultures could meet naturally.

Jace became a beautiful part of the life they had created together, carrying their story forward into a new generation.

SIX YEARS, ONE NEW CHAPTER

Six years after first meeting in Canada, Vân and Yen became husband and wife in 2026.

Their wedding was more than a celebration of a marriage. It marked the culmination of a journey that had taken them from a chance meeting in 2020, through years of growing together, to becoming a family of three. With Jace at the heart of their lives, the day felt like both a celebration of everything behind them and the beginning of everything still to come.

Two people from different cultures, one family shaped by love, and six years of shared memories brought them to this moment. From Canada in 2020 to becoming husband and wife in 2026, their story continues—not as an ending, but as another chapter in a life they are still writing together.
